Tattoo Removal
Reasons to remove a tattoo are many. Thankfully, tattoo removal has never been easy like now. If there is a tattoo that seems to hold you back and burden you unnecessarily, there is a way to get rid of it.
Take note though that you need to prepare yourself for a bit of scarring and some pain, albeit minimal. There are many options you need to consider until you finally decide what is the best way to remove your tattoo.
One of the more effective ways to remove a tattoo is thru laser removal. This is also the most common method. Laser tattoo removal basically works via targeting the tattoo ink with highly concentrated pulses of light which break the tattoo ink to small fragments.
These fragments are then cleared by the body's own immune system. Take note though that this does not work with a single treatment alone. The more laser is able to penetrate thru the skin, the more chances for the ink to be destroyed. Still, it is important to consider that the more laser treatments also cause a lot of damage which ultimately cause blisters as well scabs and even scars.
But believe it or not, current tattoo removal therapy and technology allow minimal scarring that bruises are none almost non existent.
There are those who describe tattoo removal as physically painful as if the skin has been splattered with very hot grease. Also, laser tattoo removal is a bit painful on the pocket. Though it largely depends on your tattoo, at least ten sessions are needed for a tattoo to be removed. Each session basically costs anywhere from $250 to more than eight hundred dollars.
Another way to remove tattoo is IPL or intense pulsed light therapy. This treatment uses a light in high intensity. A gel is first applied to the target skin. This procedure has been said to be a bit less painful compared to the more known method of laser therapy. Unfortunately, this procedure is also more expensive. Price of each pulse has been said to cost $10.
